(LONDON, Ontario) – Letters From Hawthorne, a two-piece collective comprised of Jade Bennett and Jeff Harloff, are launching the Australia Bushfire Relief Benefit Concert. The initiative is to assist in the restoration of Australian ecosystem that has been compromised by the massive bushfires that are taking place.

The concept for the fundraiser was inspired by an interaction Jade had with one of her Australian friends who, at the time, was back home, visiting family.

“He was home visiting, sending me pics and updates as he was watching his country burn”, Jade commented. “He asked if there was a way to raise money somehow, and I said we can try to hold a benefit concert to help.”
